STOP

To-Do lists run my life. I love them. Crossing off things gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. No, seriously.

Instead of thinking what we need to start doing, let's think about what we need to STOP doing.

1. Paying with credit cards.
2. Frowning.
3. Not saying "Please" and "Thank you."
4. Not being yourself.
5. Being negative.
6. Criticizing.
7. Whining.
8. Running stop signs.
9. Texting/Talking on the phone while driving.
10. Watching TV.
11. Thinking you are the s**t.
12. Not washing their hands after going to the bathroom.
13. Burning Bridges.
14. Quitting.
15. Being late.
16. Not tipping well.
17. Eating processed food.
18. Overeating.
19. Coughing without covering their mouth. (swine flu people)
20. Driving EVERYWHERE.
21. Gaining weight.
22. Not keeping in touch.
23. Bad-mouthing others.
24. Ignoring the needy.
25. Gambling.
26. Worrying.
27. Promising they'll do something and then not do it.
28. Being immature.
30. Buying things they can't afford.
31. Calling in sick when they're not.
32. Not exercising.
33. Speeding.
34. Being selfish.
35.Wasting energy, littering, not recycling.
36. Taking shortcuts in life.
37. Not crossing things off your to-do lists ;)

Do it. Or don't do it? You know what I mean.

So true. So sad.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN A NEW ERA OF MODERN TIMES WHEN...

1. You accidentally enter your PIN on the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.
4. You e-mail/BBM/twitter/facebook chat the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your driveway and use your cell to see if anyone is home to help carry in the groceries.
7. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't even have the first 20 or 30 (or 60) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
8. You get up in the morning and go on line before getting your coffee. Or do it from bed. On your phone.

9. Your 7 year old nephew has an iphone.
10.All of your friends have an @ in their names.
11. You have never sat through an entire movie without having at least one device on your body beep or buzz.
